Bordering west of great historical farming area of Barbera traveling from northern Piemonte and ends precisely in the valleys of Marzabotto passing all the northern Apennines.
It’s a wine that is able to interpret the area characterized by strong, draining and hilly terrain. The colour is deep purple, aromas of red fruit and wild currant, pomegranate like these notes very vinous, delineate the unmistakable character of this wine. The thick skin and fleshy of grapes allows the tannins to be present in large quantities. The result is a wine that combines the character proud of Barbera with the delicacy made from a soft vinification lasted about 20 days, made only with manual punching.
All the wines had fermentation in stainless steel, without the addition of either yeast or other foreign substances to the wine. Small addition of sulfur dioxide ( 2gr/hl) bottling. Refining in bottle for about 6 months.
